Bologna release Signori
Guiseppe Signori´s five-year
stay at Bologna ended Friday after the Italian first division club released
the 35-year-old striker.
The former Italy international, who joined the club after a brief spell at
Sampdoria, scored 61 goals in 120 matches.
However Signori´s final season was plagued by injuries and tarnished by a
series of disagreements with coach Francesco Guidolin.
Signori spent six seasons at Lazio before leaving for Sampdoria in 1997.
His best season was the 1992-93 campaign in which he scored 26 goals in 32
Serie A matches. |
